Ok so I called wwl today during the Angela show to ask two serious questions on the topic being discussed. Wont mention any names but the representative from SUNO accused me of stirring the pot. He said they taught young black men about and had positive black role models come and speak to them. My first question was if they taught about people like Col. West out Dr. Ben Carson and I stated it wasnt a politically pointed question and my second question was if so do they teach them how to deal with the negative feedback they receive from the few in the African American community that believe if you dont follow a certain lifestyle our political party youre not a true black person. I was chastised for asking the first and accused of stirring the pot and he danced around the second part of the question. Now I asked this question to understand how to keep the young African American male that plays with my kids in the straight path to his dreams despite what his aunts and cousins tell him. He wants to be an Air Force pilot but his family tells him he cant be because hes black. I cant do it alone and seeing as how someone that is supposed to help made accusations and danced around the question Im starting to think that maybe the man from SUNO and his family just dont want to see this young man and others like him better themselves. Its really sad.
