Ok, so before you read this post… click on Earth, Wind and Fire’s “Sing a Song” because that my friends is what this post is all about. Yesterday to many Western Pennsylvanians you might have seen it as a very dreary, rainy, cold day… but not me. I had to travel a little bit yesterday, it was a mindless drive, and so I put on SiriusXM Radio and put on the channel… “The Groove” and there it was, all of that great funk music from back in the day, Earth, Wind and Fire, Commodores, Ohio Players and the music went on and on and on, each song renewing my soul filling me like a breath of fresh air as I swayed and sang each and every song. I could of cared who was around, as I found myself back in the good old days, filled with tremendous peace and joy. Even with all the rain, clouds and cold, you would have thought I was sitting at the ocean drinking a fruity island drink. And so the moral of the story is this… let the groove of great music, renew and refresh your soul. Allow whatever music gives you peace and joy from back in your youth, back into your life once again. This was an unexpected precious gift yesterday.
