Ok so gramma update: she fell off a curb leaving the hospital and fell into her car, bounced off and into the street. She has a compound fracture of the wrist and is heading into surgery as we speak. They are mainly going in to clean it up as its an open dirty break. They may have to use some pins as well. Her face is all bruised and beat up but no head wounds. I guess she got pretty combative with the Er staff and paramedics because she was embarrassed. Once they got her calm they were able to get her pain meds and what not. So we are hoping that she will go up to the same post op floor mom is on, who is very upset about all this. She is really worried about grams. So its time to rally the troops cuz I cant take care of them both !
