Ok so here we are. Haven is back in treatment, thank God! First radiology session in a week. Chemo coming tonight. This will be taken orally, should be fine. Only 5 more weeks and counting down. If you havent heard, Haven went in to emergency last week with brain fluid blockage, had a shunt put in and since recovered from that trauma. Amen, praise The Lord! Haven is amazing, he just keeps fighting. Here are a few things he did today... Prayed with dad Teeth brushed Squeezed my hand till it hurt He has regained regular eyesight, distance 2ft. Anything more is still double vision Asked about Hannah Banana Lungs suctioned, he has a touch of an infection Radiation at General hospital Winked at nurse, and she winked back (wa?) Stuck his tongue out at daddy, and yes, exactly in that order! Rested and pooped four times over the afternoon. Too much info? We watched Brazil get their asses handed to them Sat in a chair by himself...how cool is that? Watched Ben 10 Thanked all the amazing people that work here. Appreciated Chantal Degrace from Leaucan for her tireless work You rock Chantal! Oma an Opa came by And he takes his Chemo pill at 9pm. Haven will be an inpatient for the next 2 weeks. We are on the 4th floor north, room 10. Let me know if u want to drop in, everyone is welcome. We are entering a stage in treatment that will be very heavy on Haven. We are so thankful for all of your support, spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. Please pray that God will hold Haven in his loving arms, carry the load to full healing and a speedy recovery, in Jesus name Amen.
