Ok so the heat index for New England is going into the triple digits today... PLEASE PLEASE REMEMBER TO LEAVE YOUR PETS HOME IN AN AIR CONDITIONED ENVIRONMENT... IT IS OK FOR THEM "TO MISS YOU" WHILE YOU RUN TO THE STORE ETC... MAKE SURE TO FILL AND REFILL THEIR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR WATER BOWLS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. LOTS OF ICE CUBES INSURE NO LAPSES OF FRESH WATER. Minimize their time outdoors to 20 minute intervals at a time tops. If they are babies or older make it 10. A good guide line is for you to go outside in minimal clothing in a bright sunny spot... Run around... And time hot quickly you get overheated. Then try it in minimal shade... Stand barefoot on hot concrete (how long can you last??) NOW DO ALL THAT WEARING YOUR HEAVIEST WINTER COAT... EXACTLY... THANKS!!!
