Ok so weve lived in Hometown for about 2 1/2 years and our neighbors tell us of how everyone used to have block parties. A chance to get out and meet and mingle with your neighbors. We literally only know the neighbors on either side of us. Would like to get to know more. Why dont we have block parties anymore? We live on 88th Place and from what Ive heard they were quite successful. An inexpensive and fun way to get everyone out and have a good time. And with all the kids I am sure we could find things to do games, DJ, etc etc....thoughts?
