Ok, thank you, Kristy Vandegriff, here are some things that most people do not know about me: 1.) I received my learners permit to drive from the DPS in Tyler. My aunt decided that if I were going to take my little cousin to visit her grandma and grandpa on top of the hill that I should at least be partly legal. 2.) I couldnt swim a lick until after I became disabled. I became so good at swimming that I could swim the length of an Olympic pool completely underwater. 3.) I cant carry a tune if I had it in a syrup bucket with a lid on it! But I love to sing, so youve been warned. 4.) For all the fancy cooking I have been known to do I cant cook a decent pot of chili. But Mary Helen LeGalley has it perfected! 5.) I could probably survive if we were suddenly thrown backwards to pioneer standards. I only need someone to get the fire started! 6.) In doing our family genealogy I found that a relative married the brother of Daniel Boone. Huh 7.) I still have the first dollar I ever made.. Oh, sorry, everybody knows that. My first real job was working for Mr Eli Trivett at the Jewett Cafe. I was paid the massive amount of $21.00 a week and the first thing I did was go to the Drug Store and put a hair dryer on layaway. When Miss Sybil Ellis me why I was buying it I explained that I needed it so I could wash and dry my hair before I went to work. She thought that was sensible. So. Now you know stuff and nonsense about me.
