Ok the question has been posed to me, continuously why arent you signed yet? My response is that I can read, they say huh....Then I say I can read and fully understand the verbiage of a contract. They say, what does that have to do with anything? Then I say I understand the terms of the tour contracts that I have been presented in front of me and want no part of any shady business that will not benefit me and leave me broke in the end? I can give you an example I was presented an opportunity to go on a 35 day tour, the show would pay $500 a gig and in arenas they would pay me $750 or more depending on the capacity of each arena. Sounds good.... But in the small find print it stated I would have to refund/repay all gas mileage, hotel room fees, food fees, and any booking fees or special travel fees. Hmmmmm...... Now does that sound right? I think not.... Welp, a person says to me man thats a good deal I would do it just for the exposure... Hint, Hint, so you telling me you would go on a 35 day tour for exposure and come back an owe money to the people you went on tour with in the end? Then, I heard crickets.... See, I Iearned so much over the years from a lot of people behind the scenes, It has been priceless.... And adding more education to your background, networking, learning from others, and taking time to learn your craft and business is very important.....
