Ok.. this was a little disturbing to me so I need to vent! I just heard from a source at the special (i.e. $200 extra per council member) meeting that took place tonight that they voted to censure Clerk Deborah Mack. This means that she was officially silenced (not allowed to speak) at the meeting tonight. It makes you wonder if she was going to share some pertinent information with the public that the powers that be did not want her to share...SMH Being surrounded by politics--even dirty politics on a daily basis, I already know that I will continue to see and experience many disheartening and negative things. This has proven to be very mentally and emotionally draining. Therefore, I believe that the best relief and/or release for me is to not be silent any more about my viewpoint. I will exercise my 1st amendment right to comment/vent about certain things. As long as I know what I state to be the truth, I will openly share on my page. As much as I hate and have always hated politics, I dont want my comments to be perceived as political, but simply a different point of view to what has so far been one-sided blogging and communication with the public. After all-- EVERYBODY should know by now that there are TWO sides to EVERY story! Please pray for me, my co-workers, and WORLD (Village of New Haven) PEACE!!
