Tip 2 - The Brains Intent: It is the brains intent that will determine the training effect, not the velocity of the bar. The brains intent will determine the adaptation to high-speed lifting. When, concentrating on acceleration while reaching muscle failure will cause the same adaptation as lifting at high speed, as long as you are concentrating on the acceleration of the load. In power training for athletes keep reps to 1-5 so that high-threshold motor units are recruited.
