Okay... I am going to rant a bit.... my comment below is my initial thought. If you are unaware... this player was drug tested and his number is well below the OHIO state law. In fact the number indicates second hand smoke, not even something that would register if it was taken directly. What I find more deplorable... is this... another player, beat his wife. Sports fans will know who and what team he plays for. That player was suspended for 2 game I believe. So the NFL, has set their own rules for criminal acts. These rules are not in tune with state laws... and they clearly have placed a ranking on what is acceptable and what is not. Beating your wife is acceptable.. only worth a 2 game sit out. Being around pot heads where you get second hand smoke... that is worth being suspended the entire season... which runs into the following season... effectively ruining this mans ability to make his living according to his contract for 2 seasons. Again... the take away is that the NFL has warranted... beating wife is not that bad... second hand smoke is Horrendous. There was a statistic a while back, that on Superbowl, the reported incidents of domestic abuse increased. I know see why... the NFL, doesnt deem it that bad. Who care if you beat your wife... shove your girlfriend through a wall... leave a bruise on her head, hidden by her hair, so you are not at fault.... Until we treat women with respect and honor their place on their earth... there will be injustice.
