Okay I need everyone’s help. Last Wednesday in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Raymond Pinson was arrested at Auto Zone for assaulting an employee and felony animal cruelty. Several witnesses saw him dragging a puppy (chiweenie) thru the store. He picked the puppy up approximately 3 ft off the floor by the leash, ultimately chocking the poor puppy. He was also seen drop kicking the puppy. There are several witnesses to this horrific ordeal and they have gone on record as to the details of what happened. When a female employee stepped in and removed the puppy from him, he assaulted her too. The police were called and he was arrested for assaulting her and for felony animal cruelty. When the district attorney’s office got the charges, he dropped the felony animal cruelty to a misdemeanor charge of Outraging Public Decency (wth). The assistant district attorney Jack Coppedge is the person responsible for lowering the charge. This is a total outrage and this man should not get off with a slap on the hand. He even went to the shelter and tried to get the puppy back. I don’t think man should ever be allowed to own another animal, much less get this one back. Please call the district attorney’s office and make sure they file the correct charges against this idiot. The phone number is 580-223-9674. It is an election year and I promise if this doesn’t get handled correctly, I will do anything and everything in my power to make sure we have a new district attorney. If we don’t stand up for the animals, who will?
