Okay, Ill share this...because Im genuinely annoyed. Why the hell doesnt Kansas have a boatload of distilleries operating here? Were the land of wheat for goodness sake. Youd think that the occasional crop of rye or barley might be used for something useful...such as brewing up not only a decent craft beer...but something thats far less hipsterish, like a single-malt, or hell...even a blended whisky. What gives? Is it the retarded religiously-influenced nature of this place? Because Id think a great craft-distilled whisky would be an incredible boon to the economy. Unless, of course, the GOP doesnt support *that* kind of small-business enterprise (which is most likely the case). I think its a terrific waste. Beyond terrific, actually. Kansas is in some pretty definite need of a character-booster, after the past twenty years of almost indelible idiocy thats branded the state as a home to cro-magnon retroverts. What about it? Should we lobby for a relaxing of distillation laws in Kansas? I say YES. Most resoundingly.
