Okay. Im going on a feminist rant. If you dont like it you may feel free to unfriend me and kindly feck off: If I see one more woman say we dont need feminism Im going to scream. Do these stupid assholes not realize how much they owe to feminism? Oh no, its easy to live your liberated lives on the backs of the women who fought for your right to do so, while simultaneously parroting misogynistic and ignorant shit for the sake of being included in the boys club. It must be nice to be so completely stupid and culturally institutionalized that you can ignore the fact that women make less than their male counterparts and are still fighting for control over our bodies while all-male panels decide whether or not we reproduce. It must be nice to be so ignorant and blind so as to not know what female circumcision is, or to be so downright ignorant that you think feminism is only limited to American women. It must be nice to be so out of touch with reality that impressing men so they think youre not like other girls( wow ) is more important than acknowledging the real struggle. Ignorance is bliss. You know, the term Uncle Tom is reserved for the black community to describe those who were/are obedient or subservient to their oppressors. I truly wish there was a word like that to describe the idiotic women who continue to perpetuate all of the misogyny-fueled lies and misconceptions about feminism. Is thinking really this freaking hard for some of you women, or are your heads really shoved so far up your own asses that it doesnt matter? Never mind. Get back to your pumpkin spice lattes and reality shows. Someone will take care of you as long as youre not too intelligent.
