Okay Im going to take a poll.. The smoke stack in Monroe got painted... Although the idea was great, it looks like a drunk 2 year old painted it... So out of curiosity I called the chamber of commerce to ask who had the bright idea and what would it take to redo it! Lets just says the receptionist was less than pleased and proceeded to tell me it was voted on and it had 1,000 votes... Well considering there is 60,000 people around the area, I asked who voted and I had never heard anything about it... So here is my thoughts.. Wouldnt it have made more since to paint it in bearcat colors? Maybe whole thing black with orange and white letters... Maybe some bearcat paw prints throughout? I mean seriously, look at this! Question to all my city employee friends, how do we make a petition to get that disaster changed?
