Okay enough is enough! I have been taught since I can remember the the " N " word is as bad as any other cuss word in the english language. If I would have said it as a youngster I would have gotten my mouth washed out with soap. ( Only had this happen one time. I was rhyming the word duck) I taught my children that this was the only word I would lose my mind over. They didnt try me on it. My youngest son had friends call him this word. It was a greeting. Friends of all races and colors. I cannot abide what is happening to Paula Dean, (The way Matt Lauer took her to task this morning was terrible. Sherri Shephard and Joy Behart have passed judgement and closed the case on this woman) The press called her a demon in the past when she was diagnosed with diabetes. They pulled thier claws out then also. I remember when Oprah and her friend Gail had a sleepover at her house. I have seen pictures of the boy whom she has lended aid to and HE calls her his mom. Far be it for me to pass judgement on ANYONE who makes a mistake. She has admitted she was wrong. Good lord you people in the media are vicious. I saw a woman raise her hand and say I have never , ever used that word. Well Ill bet not but what else have you done. Come on people have you never done anything you regret. Im over it Paula. I think you deserve to be forgiven (if that is within our power) by the world.
