Okay, so I get that we shouldnt eat at McDonalds at all, but besides that... It bothers me when you order a happy meal that they say for a Boy or a Girl regarding the choice of toy. Why does McDonalds gender specify toys? Do they not think that a girl could enjoy a Mario Kart toy? Do they not think that my little girl would like Smurfs? Oh, you have a girl...heres a pony, or a princess item! Dont get me wrong, most of the time my daughter would choose the girl toy anyway, but what are the chances that she will pick the toy designated as boy after shes heard that its a Boys toy? Society will push its gender norms on us all, but maybe we should expect it a little less of a nutrition-free hamburger slinging restaurant. But what do I know... Bring back the California Raisin toys!
