Okay so at least two of these are mine, maybe all 4. They are fully inflated on rims. What is the best method to convert these into tires that can be used on an axle bar. Looking for the biggest bang for the buck. The axle I own is a 25# hollow 1.9 OD Rogue axle bar if that makes a difference and Im not opposed to getting a new axle bar if need be but prefer not too. My idea was to get someone to weld a 3 long sleeve that would slide over the outside of the axle. There would be a plate welded to the outside of the sleeve that would have pre drilled holes that would bolt on to the rim. Am I way off base here? Whos done something like this? Whats the best, easiest, most cost efficient method? If youve done something like this before what did you learn from it, what worked, what didnt, what would you do different? What would most closely mimic axles with tires used in competitions or at Nationals?
