Okay so lets talk shop. I dont often address things, but when I notice a trend I like to just touch base with the readers. I feel like when you guys know me, or at least get a glimpse of me as a person then it will help you understand my writing, and the whys of what I do. I try very hard to listen to what yall want. My goal is always to entertain to the best of my ability. While it sucks when I cant make everyone happy, I am not so immature or unrealistic as to believe that it will ever be a possibility. Whether its covers or content of the book there will always be people who love it or hate it or fall somewhere in between and that is okay. I dont have a problem with readers expressing their opinions to me even if its negative. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and frankly there are times that those opinions make me a better writer. All I ask is that readers remember that I am a person and I do have feelings. I can handle criticism that is constructive, what I cant handle is when a reader makes it personal and attacks me as a person. Sometimes I think readers dont see us authors as real people, and it reflects in their comments. I will always strive to give my best in every aspect of my books; my covers, my content, my book trailers, my advertisement, my prices. I never want readers to feel as though they havent gotten their time or moneys worth. So please dont feel bad if you tell me you dont like something (like the new OOTD cover) do I want you all to like it? Of course, but I dont always get what I want. And as Ive said before, I thank you all so much for your support, even when you dont like something you guys still encourage me and stick with me and that means the world to me. My promise to you is that I will never give you less than my absolute best. I will always pour every ounce of myself into my books and strive to make each book better than the last. I try my hardest to convey my characters in the models that I pick but realize we all see the characters differently in our minds. I will always listen to what you all have to say and truly take it to heart and consider will this make me a better writer. I will not ever pretend to know it all, or have it all figured out or to be an expert. I am a work in progress and learn something new with each new book. Okay thanks for having a little chat with me. I like to keep the lines of communication open because lets face it, that is what will keep us out of counseling and working together towards a common goal- the best books ever. I hope it pays off and I hope that you, the readers finish it craving more and falling more in love with the characters.
