Okay tomorrow is going to be a better day :) because my weekend hasnt started off so good. Bill in ER last night his ribs hurting bent over in pain hurt to breathe or cough. They took him for x-ray and while he is getting x-rays Trav calls and said Rebel has a bloody nose. He kept calling me cant do much because I am at ER. Bill pulled a muscle not much they can do so they put him on pain pills and muscle relaxers. Couldnt wait to get home to see how my poor puppy is. Up most of the night with him and off to the vet this afternoon. They did blood work and Red blood cells are elevated as well as his kidney levels (not bad though doc thinks it is because of the infection) but everything else is in normal range. We are hoping that it is an upper respiratory infection as he has a slight cough. Doc was surprised on how healthy he is for an 8 yr old and didnt expect blood work to come out so good. Please say prayer that this clears it up because if his nose doesnt stop bleeding within 48 hrs he is going to have to go in for x-rays. Trav googled what does it mean when a dog has a nose bleed and it stated possible sign of cancer and the Doc confirmed this even before I told him my son had googled this. Was so hard seeing him so upset because this is his dog and I told him all we can do is pray that he gets better and it is nothing serious. We have given Rebel a good home and he has had a good life so now we have to put it in Gods hands.
