Okay, while I love pretty kitchens, I also love Earthship Biotecture. I just put this up on my personal profile, I have never articulated this better myself than now. Went to the Silkwood parent introductory course today, Went to the green school information afternoon at LOHAS about a month ago now, and I love them both, and I cant decide... I want to unschool my children predominately, or pay a teachers wage with a group of families to set up a homeschool with a teacher. I dont even like the word school, school is for fish, not children. I dont like the word kid, because my children are children not baby goats. The thing about education is, why do we require educating ? Even if we didnt read or write or have math, then we would still have a language & an understanding of life, we eat, drink, sleep, and be at one with the land we live on... whats so hard about that... can we not just rest & be peaceful or do we have to study & learn or have knowledge (if we look at that apple in the garden of eden... knowledge just confuses things if you ask me. Just listen to the spirit you were given. Your heart. I love the aborigines of all cultures, they get that, you can see it in their art, its so simple & plain. why complicate it all. What to do. What to do. What do you do for education/learning for your children ?
