Okie dokie... Here is the scoop on Tim... yesterday he had converted to a normal sinus rhythm.. he kept that rhythm for a couple of hours and then it went back to a-fib... today it has been in and out of the normal rhythm which is a good sign (again thank you Brenda Shaffer for the simple explanation) because that means the heart is trying to convert... the Dr is optimistic with this prognosis and is fairly certain he could be going home tomorrow... I for one am ready to be spending my time at home instead of a really (really, really, REALLY) uncomfortable chair and I think Tim is just ready for his own bed (and a shower!) Thank you again everyone for all of your support and encouragement... I know its not over yet but it seems a little easier knowing we are getting there!
