Old Trafford side keen on Borussia Dortmund attacker. Man United are being strongly linked with a move to trigger Marco Reus’s release clause in order to land the talented Borussia Dortmund attacker according to Sports Direct News. The 24 year old German international has been a big success since moving to the Westfalenstadion in January 2012 though could perhaps be tempted to move to Old Trafford. Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp will fight tooth and nail to keep hold of the former Borussia Monchengladbachman but knows from past instances that it can prove tough for his club to keep hold of their top talents. The likes of Nuri Sahin, Shinji Kagawa and Mario Gotze have left in recent seasons and Polish striker Robert Lewandowski could well be set to follow suit when his contract comes to a close next summer. It would take a bid of £31m to land Reus but in today’s transfer market such a fee could be considered a bargain a move David Moyes would be keen to make to help boost his Man United attack. Reus could perhaps be seen as a possible replacement for Wayne Rooney, with the England forward’s Man United future still far from certain. The Borussia Dortmund man racked up 19 goals in all competitions last term, helping his side in their run to the Champions League final, and has already scored seven goals in the current campaign. #antik
