Olgeta I regrettably advise that the Effie Beaso Medical Appeal Walk-a-thon planned for 2nd August, has had to be deferred to a later date. This Walk-a-ton will now take place on Saturday 9th August. The reason is that whilst Police Clearance has been given to stage the walk, we will need to organise Police escort, appoval for the use of a part of the Jack Pidik Park as well as secure a minimum sponsorship threshold. I ask that you extend this information to others as well. In the meantime, i request that we continue to solicit sponsors for the walk-a-thon.
