On 28 January 2014 I posted this status. Not so long the political realm of South Africa was populated by Nkandlegate, that the tax payers money is used to building the museum of corruption for just an only President Zuma and his wives. They have spent almost R320Million for Nkandlagate but now they say NSFAS is not having any funds to pay for the registration and tuition fees for the needy students financially. We know the kind of a game ANC is playing as they have run out of the tactics to campaign. They intentionally hold the authorization of NSFAS so they can send SASCO to act as life saviours to the desperate students. This people are so desparate of our votes and they will do anything to be seen as they are having the interests of our students at heart. The sad reality is that the emerging of EFF is making ANC to have sleepless nights and they will try to find any loophole that they can use to redeem themselves in our societies and NSFAS was one of it so they can seen as they have heart towards the success of our tertiary students while they don’t. Now SASCO what is trying to do by striking in a wrong platfrom(Universities) at the same time disrupting the process of registration, it was a misfortunate behaviour of a dying elephent. The NSFAS crises it is a national matter that need to be addressed Nationally. If indeed SASCO know what they are doing, they were supposed to call out the National strike heading towards Luthuli House as NSFAS is been controlled there. So SASCO stop fooling our students by acting like you care a lot about their educational careers. Universities are just the custodian of NSFAS but the authorizers of NSFAS is ANC, that is why I don’t see any need for SASCO to strike within the parameters of the Universities. I read this paragraph on the statement issued by Mr Msulwa Daca, Executive Officer of NSFAS, he said “We are willing to engage with SASCO to explore ways in which we can co-operate to increase the pool of funds and ensure that student from poor and working class families have the chance to attend university or college. We have invited the leadership of SASCO to meet us and look forward to this engagement” From this statement you’ll will concur with me that they are trying to scoop the political score for SASCO that its umbrella is ANC. SRC elections are just around the corner and the don’t have any tactics to convince students to votes for them and this is how low they can go just to redeem themselves. I am in the knowledge that so far this crises have reach even to the parents of the students who attending at Uversities and FET’s and when next week after this strike, ANC is going to release the NSFAS and all the credits will be painted to SASCO. The students who are affected by this pre-planned lame tactics will see SASCO as life saviour and when the elections comes in the campus will vote for them and will be the same things in the general elections. If indeed ANC and SASCO really want to redeem themselves from the embarasment they have caused in the past, they should just apologize to the people of this country for fooling us with this lame tactics of caimpaigning for the elections within the University’s campus(SRC) and general election. To all students, do not stress they cannot afford to lose the votes they wants from you and by that there is no way that they should not release the NSFAS as that will enforce them to vacate Union building, just relax and watch the game they are playing as I have atleast outlined what they are trying to do. Jan 28 at 5:01am near Johannesburg. Now they have release NSFAS amounting to R1Billion to assist the students so they can register. As Ive said it before they will use anything within their mean to redeem themselves, any state machinery to campaign for the SRC and general election and they did it so as they are so predictable because they cant think. So now I advice all the students to go all out and register after doing so, on the 8-9 February go and register to vote so when the general elections come, you vote them out for playing with your feelings through the delay of NSFAS. They dont deserve your votes this people.
