On 9/12/14 at approximately 3:43 am six (6) individuals were discovered to be on the roof of the Valley Park School. Tyler A. Shipley (M/20) of Pennsville, Shane R. Wright (M/21) of Pennsville, Derek M. Johnson (M/21) of Pennsville, Matthew J. Burke (M/21) of Pennsville, Francesca C. Sinigagilo (F/19) of Pennsville and Amber A. Rainear (F/19) of Carneys Point were all arrested and charged with Trespassing. Upon being processed they were released pending court. On 9/13/14 at approximately 12:50 pm a resident of North Broadway reported that someone entered his apartment and removed Prescription Medication and U.S. Currency. The Burglary and Theft was estimated to be $260.00 in medication and $10.00 in currency. Police are investigating further. On 9/16/14 at approximately 1:42 am Michael T. Grieves (M/42) of Pennsville was arrested for Driving While Under the Influence, Eluding Police with a Motor Vehicle, Resisting Arrest, Refusing to Submit to a Breath Test, Reckless Driving and Speeding. Grieves was observed on Mahoney Road operating his vehicle in an erratic manner. Police activated all emergency lights and siren at which time Grieves refused to stop and continued to operate his vehicle in an erratic manner before finally coming to a stop in the parking lot of Lauras Glen Apartments. Grieves then refused to exit the vehicle and had to be physically removed from the vehicle. Grieves was processed and released pending court.
