On Multipliers and Diminishers ... There are some supervisors or leaders who multiply the intelligence and talents of those around them, but sadly, there are others who diminish it, according to a book I am reviewing, Multipliers, by Liz Wiseman and Brian McKeown. When I think of Multipliers in my life, Mary Wieman, comes to mind. Mary, my high school journalism teacher, worked magic in her students. Anyone who entered Marys orbit seemed instantly smarter, more talented and more capable than ever before. She is still my inspiration. Who are the Multipliers in your life?
