On October 5, 2013, we held our 2nd Veterans Security Guard Card Training class at City College - Veterans Resource Center. In attendance were 14 veterans, and all were certified to be able to receive their guard card. They are in the process of retaining employment with Security Industry Specialists, Inc. We would like to thank Mr. Bobby Sisk, of WSB and Associates, Inc. for providing the 8 hr. training to the veterans. We would also like to thank the Veterans Resource Center for allowing us to be able to utilize a classroom at the College, and to Eric Duncan and John Wong for opening and closing the classroom on their day off. This was all made possible by North Bay Veterans Resource Center in Santa Rosa. This organization provided the funding enabling the veterans to receive funding to pay for their training, application and fingerprinting fees.
