On September 28, would-be beneficiaries of the prefabricated shelters trooped to Ormoc City plaza where a model unit of Tzu Chi Foundation’s temporary house has been installed. The beneficiaries came in groups – an entire family, neighbors and friends – to personally see how their future home will look like. The beneficiaries of the temporary housing project could not quite hide their excitement about the prospect of moving in to the prefabricated shelter. All of them lauded the quality of the shelter and admired how it was designed with the well-being of its inhabitants in mind.
