On Sunday 11 May, from 5.30am until 11am, Montague Road at West End will be closed for the Mothers Day Classic fun run and walk. The intersection of Melbourne, Grey and Peel Streets will be under police direction. Services travelling through this intersection may experience minor delays. Route diversions and stop changes Route 198 Route 198 services will travel its normal loop to Edmondstone Street before turning left into Melbourne Street, left into Boundary Street, right into Jane Street, right into Bank Street and right into Mollison Street where it will terminate as normal. During this time, Montague Road bus stops 4, 5 and 6 will be temporarily closed. To catch route 198 serivces, youll need to use West End Junction stop 5 on Boundary Road. Bus stops closed: Montague Rd near Brereton St, stop 5 (inbound) Montague Rd near Cameron St, stop 6 Montague Rd near Brereton St, stop 5 (outbound) Alternative bus stop: Boundary St at West End Junction, stop 5 CityGlider services to West End will travel along their normal route to Mollison Street, turning left into Bank Street, right into Jane Street, left into Hardgrave Road and then along Ganges and Hoogley Streets to the West End ferry terminal. During this time, inbound and outbound buses will be unable to access Montague Road near Victoria Street, bus stop 10 and Montague Road at Cordeaux Street, bus stop 14. To catch a CityGlider service, you will need to head to the West End ferry terminal bus stop. Bus stops closed: Montague Rd near Victoria St, stop 10 Montague Rd near Victoria St, stop 10 Montague Rd at Cordeaux Street, stop 14 Montague Rd at Cordeaux Street, stop 30/14 Alternative bus stop: West End ferry terminal Services to Teneriffe CityGlider services to Teneriffe will travel via Morry Street, Gray Road and Ganges Street to Hardgrave Road where they will turn right into Jane Street, left into Bank Street and right into Millison Street before continuing along their normal path. During this time inbound and outbound services will be unable to access bus stops on Montague Road at Donkin Street. For CityGlider services, youll need to use Melbourne Street stop 5 (Mollison Street). Bus stops closed: Montague Rd at Donkin Street, stop 7 (inbound) Montague Rd at Donkin Street, stop 7 (outbound) Alternative bus stop: Mollison St near Boundary St, stop 5 Mollison St near Melbourne St Route 444 Route 444 services will terminate at the Cultural Centre using Hope Street to turn around. The bus stop on Stanley Street at Gallery of Modern Art, will not be serviced due to the road closure. During this time, you can catch route 444 services from the Cultural Centre busway station.
