On Thursday August 28, after close of business, an individual - TopicsExpress

On Thursday August 28, after close of business, an individual threw a dog over a fence at a commercial building on D Street in Ramona. We were unaware of the trapped dog until late Friday afternoon. The following extracted surveillance video shows this individual in the act of dumping the dog, which appears to land on its back from the fall, and may have suffered an injury from this, as it was observed to have a slight limp the following day. Both the dog and a copy of the full video are in the hands of the San Diego County Department of Animal Control, however, if anyone happens to know the identity of the dog-dumper, please let me know, so I can pass that information along to Animal Control for their investigation. (If you have information, you can email me at: kareninramona@facebook) Additional Dog Information for those interested in adopting: This female puppy (apparently pit bull) was picked up by an agent from the San Diego County Department of Animal Control late on the evening of Friday August 29, 2014. While I have not been given any further information from the SDDAC since that time, the dog is in their hands, and upon reviewing the pet adoption section of their website ( sddac/adoptions.asp ) this evening, I am quite sure that the dog shown with ID number is A1605523, is the same puppy that was dumped at our office.
