His famous photo of three Israeli paratroopers looking at the Wailing Wall after it was recaptured in June 1967 was a prize-winning icon of the Six Day War. Shimon Peres described Rubinger as “the photographer of the emerging nation.” In celebration of his ninetieth birthday, David Rubinger tells of his sixty years as a photo journalist.
