Gonzalez Law Firm addressed a group of juveniles at the Hidalgo County Courthouse in Edinburg, TX. as part of the life classes held by 449th State District Judge Jesse Contreras. As judge of Hidalgo Countys juvenile justice court, Judge Jesse Contreras sees repeat offenders cycle through his court and has made the commitment to help reduce the criminal activity among the youth he encounters daily. As part of this pledge, Judge Contreras holds life classes for juvenile offenders on supervision and has guest speakers address the group with the purpose of encouraging and motivating the youth to overcome their missteps and mistakes in life, steer them away from a life of crime and get them back on track to setting and achieving their goals.
