On behalf of Charlenes Project, we would like to say a massive thankyou to everyone who donated Haribos and crayons. We have been simply overwhelmed by the generous response! Children in Uganda have so little however the crayons enable us to carry out our school programmes successfully and the schools benefit from being able to keep these resources. The children too would never have the opportunity to have even a little treat and thanks to the kindness of our Waringstown community each child will benefit in both Charlenes Project schools this summer. Mrs McCollum , who has been involved in Charlenes Project from its beginning said, Our school community have truly taken Charlenes Project to their hearts. Over the years the response has always been amazing and has helped improve the life experiences of children half a world away. At the same time this has also taught our children valuable lessons of sharing and caring for others.
