On behalf of my mom and my family I would like to thank everyone that sent cards, food, phone calls or even just your thoughts and prayers this week. This has been a pretty tough week for us but it did our hearts good knowing just how many people my dads life has touched. He was a man that knew no strangers and even if you wanted to stay a stranger he would not have let you. He loved watching all of our kids play ball and lived to do it. It didnt matter how bad he felt he still didnt want to miss a game. I think Rylee put it best when she first saw him at the funeral home, that this was just his crab shell his temporary home. He is in his new home now with his heavenly father and will be missed, but I wouldnt be surprised if at our first basketball game when one of our kids foul you hear awhh ref he didnt mean too echo across the court. :)
