On behalf of the KYEM Region 6 Coordination Center (NKY): a big shout out to all the first responders and searchers that assisted in the search of the missing person in Robertson County on Wednesday. Those included in the effort: KSP, Robertson County Sheriff Mark Sutton, Robertson County Emergency Management, Robertson County Fire/Rescue, Buffalo Trace Search & Rescue, Carlisle/Nicholas County Fire/Rescue, Mason County Emergency Management, Fleming County Fire/Rescue, Kenton County Emergency Management, Kentucky Search Dog Association (KSDA), Nicholas County Emergency Management, Fleming County Emergency Management, Bloodhound Search & Rescue and State Representative Mitchel B. “Mike” Denham, JR. for a great job in the coordinating, corporation and working together to achieve the task at hand which was finding this person. Teams utilized horses, searched via foot, vehicle, ATV and a fixed wing aircraft. Also several K9’s where brought in for air scent and tracking. A special thanks to the American Red Cross for their support during this incident by providing water, drinks and food for all the searchers and first responders. Great job once again to all involved as the subject was located Wednesday evening and transported via ambulance to an awaiting medical helicopter. Job well done! Keep up the great work that you do every day for the citizens of the Commonwealth! Truly shows how surrounding counties come together to assist others.
