On my glorious ride home from Jim Brysons yesterday, my car overheated on the 401 near Grafton. I pulled off the highway and a nice bearded tattooed man who had been driving behind me stopped to make sure I was ok. Luckily I was fine, safely off the highway under a warm sunset glow with my CAA membership and cell phone in hand. As I made my call, a young man slowed down to make sure I was ok. I sat down in the tall grass and ate my picnic dinner I had packed. Finally as the almost full moon was starting to show, I was towed by a lovely guy from McCracken Towing company all the way back to Toronto. It was the best if all circumstances. A rather pleasant breakdown. Thank you to those kind souls whose names I never heard.
