On my recent visit to KPK, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Yasir Q Khan, Assistant Commissioner Serai Naurang, Lakki Marwat. A very hardworking, genuine, modest and honest fellow. He sacrificed his office so that we could use it to serve the IDPs, arranged for our accommodation and was of great help in every possible way. I asked him if theres been any change in KPK because of PTI, and Ill just quote what he told me, without any additions or subtractions. He said: 1) Theres been a massive decrease in corruption ever since, and he himself has said no to a lot of people who came to him for favors. 2) The service quality of hospitals has improved tremendously, 24/7 availability of doctors and medicines has been ensured, his wife is a doctor so she keeps telling him about how things have improved in hospitals. 3) PTI is working on projects to improve tourism in the region. 4) Roads have improved and widening of some roads is going on to enhance tourism. 5) They launched a very good quality public transport service this weekend, but it was not advertised like the metro bus of shareef brothers, (who spend more on advertising than on projects) so people dont know about it. 6) They have introduced thumb impression attendance system in schools for proper monitoring and the standard of schools has also improved. He further added that yes, the popularity of PTI has decreased in the region somewhat, but that is only because the people who are not able to do corruption and have to do their jobs properly are not very happy about it. So, TABDEELI AA NAHI RAHI, TABDEELI AA GAI HAI!
