On the Eve of Election Day I want to throw my two cents worth out there for the local elections. I have lives in Wiiliamston since 2000 and have seen quite a few things in that short amount of time. Town council is one area Im extremely pleased with as of late (definitely not in the early years). Rockey Burgess has produced numerous times on where he stands and puts it all out there for very isnt to see. This man puts up the minutes and takes his time to answer any questions not only members of his ward but city members hve about ANy topic. Even though he may not agree with you or you may not agree with him, he always shoots from the hip. I appreciate what he has done and what he sees happening in the future. I also love the way some people try to stir the pot to help themselves during this time even though they may not have been here for a few years..... Also I have seen where another council seat has a write in ballot. Im gonna vote Greg Cole for this position bc of the knowledge this man can bring to the table. Remember this is my opinion and Im not downing anyone that dont agree, but think tomorrow before you vote, because it can have a huge impact on the future of our town!
