On the Specter of July 16th By accident I watch home movies, birthdays party on beaches of Nantucket, Hundred friends, crazy hippie, beautiful people, Everyone lean & dancing, Lobster,clams and mussels come out of seaweed steam pit, bottles of Jack & weed passed freely around.. Sun setting: I remember on this 40th occasion, in my small Quaker house right off Union St..well past midnight..drunk and alone, Soul and sober questions, was this all there was, is this all I am.. Then sleep of distraction descended and now decades later another marker approaches. question remains the same, louder. jimbauerlein
