On the way home from Saturday errands, coming down our street from the south, we saw a large, male pheasant in our outside yard! He was trying to get through the fence, but kept running into it. We hurried inside, and went out in the back yard to see if it had come over the fence. We startled it, and it flew way up high toward the east to another wooded area over that way. (should have flown over Rex & Debis place. Only one time before have I seen a pheasant in our yard-about 8 years ago. It was beautiful, and to see it fly-wonderful. Please, hunters, dont hunt pheasants. Instead, let them live in peace. They deserve it because weve taken away so much of their habitat.
