On this day, 42 years ago, at the Wattsax Music Festival held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, The Reverend Jesse Jackson said the words you hear at the beginning of the Public Enemy song “Rebel Without a Pause.” He was actually introducing a performance by The Soul Children when he said “Brothers and Sisters, I Don’t Know What This World Is Coming To.” It was the title of the song The Soul Children were ready to perform.
