On this day 44 years ago, just about the same type of weather, I was admitted to the old Parsons Hospital. I was in labor for my first child. We were blessed with a beautiful baby daughter whom we named Dona Michelle Barnes! She was such a blessing and with her being the first grandchild on my side of the family, need I say my parents spoiled her rotten. I mean of course her dad and I would never think of doing that...LOL.... She has really been a wonderful blessing and has over come many obstacles in her life, both medical and emotional. She has also blessed us with two wonderful grandchildren. Of course I love all 4 of our children and all of our grandchildren. Today is Donas day though and I just want to wish her a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you have a wonderful day and remember we all love you very much!
