Once a person starts to work on evolving themselves, they can then not go backwards and be the same person they were before. They will either stay at the same level or else go forward, adding more awareness, expanded consciousness and new insights to their enlightenment level. The goal is to not stay stuck or stagnate at any level but to keep on evolving since there is no point that we can say we have evolved enough
