Once in a rare while, someone sticks my stinkin face in a Sinatra - TopicsExpress

Once in a rare while, someone sticks my stinkin face in a Sinatra track I have somehow missed. Its a gift, because every rare time that happens I am transported back to the first time I heard him. Everything is new, and a bit sad, and I am awestruck by how someone could do something so perfectly. So thanks Tracy Kingman for sending a gift my way. You sang it great and I went and found the Frank recording. I cant listen to Frank after about 10am without it raining on my face. Its raining now as I remember standing in front of the Bellagio in LV while the water fountains danced to Luck Be A Lady Tonight. He had passed away just before then and I was watching the fountains and listening to him sing in this twinkling town that he built, in a way, and I realised my stinkin face was wet. It isnt even a sad song and Frank still managed to make my face leak. Stinkin Frank! Well, getting a wet face over a pretty corny song sung PERFECTLY is just one of the things that make us know we are alive. Frank was a towering pinnacle of human achievement in art. Like Chaplain, he makes me sad in a happy way. And you MUST hear one of my fave singers and all-round great gal Tracy sing this too! https://youtube/watch?v=dL65gXGwHJw
