Oncorhynchus mykiss is one of the most intriguing species, in - TopicsExpress

Oncorhynchus mykiss is one of the most intriguing species, in both, my studies, and fishing. Living in Superior the past two years has given me the opportunity to fish the big lake and its tributaries quite consistently. I target many species during my outings in both Wisconsin and Minnesota! They range from walleye, northern, muskie, and sucker at Barkers island, to rainbow trout, brown trout, lake trout, and coho salmon on main tributaries of Lake Superior. Most of my fishing is done right on the lake, and some I do inland. This bow was caught on a roadrunner, surprisingly enough! Some of the best lures I have used are: Rapala countdown rap, Swedish pimple, Mepps Comet, and some of my old Blue Fox inline spinners. There are many different tactics, but I like to target fish using these lures. Heres a photo of my biggest rainbow yet.
