One big heart full lesson Ive learned over the last 32 years of playing human :) is that the inability to say No and the inability to set personal boundaries has been one of the most common causes of (my) human suffering. When we cant say No, we become a sponge for the feelings of everyone around us and we eventually become swallowed up by the needs of everyone else while our own hearts harden. We begin to live our lives according to the forceful SHOULD of others, rather than the whispered, passionate want of our own hearts. We let everyone else tell us what STORY to live and we cease to be the author of our own lives. We lose our voice, we lose the desire planted deep in our hearts and the very unique way in which we need to serve in this world. Which rarely stems from following others with a blindfold on! NOW, this truth may have been ours but we have woke up and become a yes for boundaries and self authenticity or maybe we are still living as the sponge of what is happening outside of us.. Neither is wrong.. Its all a journey of waking to our inner self love that connects us all. We are all either in the fire, walking out of the fire, or tending the fire. Be kind to all, and believe each person is doing the best they can with what they have. Namaste!
