One buck and eleven does. I would watch him move the herd of does - TopicsExpress

One buck and eleven does. I would watch him move the herd of does around, away from the equipment, always standing between them and the tractor as if to stand guard and protect them. Once, two does spooked and took off running and, seemingly knowing the rest would be safe, he sprinted ahead of the two runners and turned them, cutting the two back into the herd. Watching this shows two apparent attributes. To an intelligent mind, one is strongly desired to the majority and the other would typically be less than welcome. The un-wanted exemplification would of course be extreme domination and nearly complete control. Though hard to accept as human beings, it is understandable in animals and is due to advancement of the herd. The later of the two is the most common showing of male/female semantics. In light of debating whether the females could survive without his protection, he is programmed to still safeguard them. Protection at all costs and selfless acts to ensure the safety of those you are charged with. I have come to the conclusion that this magnificent buck, in his past life...was a Marine.
