One fun part of moms funeral weekend was my siblings, spouses and I had to go through literally thousands of photos in a dozen boxes of moms, trying to find good pictures for the wakeboards (like the new use of that word I just made here?). There were so many funny and embarrassing pics. Ill post a new one each week. If Cathy is brave, shell post the WINNER! But what we noticed is that about eight years ago, the family picture stash just stops. That is when digital camera media became mainstream. No prints of the young grandkids. So it makes you think - in 30-40 years, how will folks access your photos when its your funeral and they want to put together a photo montage/slide show/whatever? Who will have access to your data cloud? I think these things are going to have to start showing up in wills so that families know how to access and find things. Anyway, thats my idle thought of the day.
