One generation passes away, and another generation comes: but the earth remains forever. The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. The wind blows to the south, and turns about unto the north; rotates about continually, and the wind returns their money back. All the rivers run into the sea, and the sea is not full, the place from where the rivers come, they do return again. All things are full of labor that men can express, the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. Which is what it was? The same will be. What has been done? The same will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun Ecclesiastes 1: 4-9
